Most of us marvel the beauty of exotic tropical birds with their bright multi colored feathers and their beautiful singing voices but fail to notice the winged creatures gliding in and out of the dark trees during twilight. Even fewer notice the micro bats, smaller than an average person"s index finger with a cry at a frequency beyond the hearing range of human"s, one can easily overlook the existence of these creatures. Bats are the only known flying mammals. Many are not partial to their leathery wings and tiny heads, but they are nonetheless one of nature"s most ingenious creations.
